In Switzerland,<\/strong> starting kindergarten is a significant step in the life of a child and its parents<\/strong>. Kindergarten is the first official part of the Swiss education system<\/strong> and marks the transition<\/strong> from supplementary family care and upbringing<\/strong> toschool education<\/strong>. Parents entrust their child to the kindergarten staff for an extended period of time, whichrequires trust and a willingness to “let go”<\/strong>. Kindergarten lays an important foundation for the<\/strong>child’s<\/strong> academic<\/strong> andsocial development<\/strong> and prepares them for the demands of elementary school through play<\/strong>. Family education<\/strong> is the most important foundation stone for the healthy and positive development of a child<\/strong>. The family remains the primary place of education in the first years of life. Our aim at KIDSatLAKE is to support parents in this important task<\/strong> by working together as partners in the education, care and support of the child<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A well-planned daily structure<\/strong> is essential for everyday kindergarten life. It gives the children security and orientation<\/strong> and enables a varied mix<\/strong> of free play, structured activities and social interactions. <\/span><\/p>\n
